NAVIGATION SUR LA RANCE - navigation on the Rance
Naviguer en toute sécurité
Aux abords de l’usine marémotrice, il y a une zone interdite (ZI) à la navigation,
aux activités nautiques, subaquatiques et à la baignade
qui est située de part et d'autre du site de production d'électricité de la Rance
Elle est délimitée par des bouées rouges
Il est interdit d'y pénétrer en raison des forts courants générés par
le fonctionnement de l'usine et du barrage
Toute intrusion volontaire est passible d'une contravention
Toujours suivre le chenal de navigation sans s’en écarter
Comprendre le sens des courants aux abords du barrage et de l'usine
Les 2 mâts situés sur le barrage au niveau de l'usine et des vannes permettent d'identifier
si l'estuaire de la Rance se vide ou se remplit et par quel moyen : via les groupes de production d'électricité ou les vannes du barrage. Il est ainsi possible d'apprécier la courantologie
